Our purpose
Happy Perks Calendar explains seasonal U.S. promotions, travel rewards, student pricing, brand discounts and official rebates in clear, practical terms.
Source standards
- Prefer current official offer pages, program rules, government portals and published terms.
- Identify program providers and link to the relevant original sources.
- Separate confirmed events from predicted seasonal windows.
- Do not treat marketing claims or unverified third-party coupon codes as confirmed savings.
What each offer guide should explain
- What the benefit is and what it is not.
- Who qualifies, where it applies and any verification requirements.
- Relevant dates, exclusions and minimum purchases.
- A worked example or decision checklist when helpful.
- The official provider page and date of the last substantive review.
How readers can verify offers
To make our verification approach practical, we provide the Deal Reality Check, an original decision checklist for comparing an official source, real eligibility, valid dates, total cost, redemption conditions and cancellation policies. It explains why future loyalty points and hypothetical examples are not guaranteed current discounts.
Corrections and expiry
When a verified offer expires or eligibility changes, we aim to update the page, label it expired, or replace the content with an appropriate evergreen explanation. We do not guarantee that a time-limited offer remains available between checks.
Independence, ads and affiliates
Our separate Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure explains how we will label display advertising, sponsored relationships and commission-earning links if they are ever introduced. Actual partnerships are not assumed simply because a brand is named.
Companies do not purchase favorable editorial conclusions. Any sponsored placement or affiliate relationship, if added, must be clearly disclosed to readers. Eligibility for an affiliate program does not establish that a deal is the best choice.
AI-assisted production
AI tools may assist with outlines, comparison structures, drafting and image preparation. Material terms, program dates, eligibility and savings claims require independent review against original sources before public release. Generated illustrations will not be described as documentary evidence of real offers.
Not professional advice
We offer general information, not legal, tax, investment or individual financial advice. Government benefit eligibility is determined by the relevant agency, not by this site.
