Calendar overview · Reviewed October 12, 2026. This U.S. calendar helps you prepare for shopping, travel, student and rewards seasons. It does not imply that a retailer has confirmed a specific sale. Always visit a provider’s official site before making a purchase or submitting personal information.

How to prepare without wasting money
- Write down the product or journey you truly need before shopping.
- Save baseline prices or realistic comparable quotes before sale week.
- Check account, student, employee or loyalty eligibility ahead of time.
- Compare the final price including fees, return rules and shipping—not just the percentage badge.
- Set a reminder for booking, claim and redemption deadlines.

Student savings: offers with longer useful lives
Programs such as Apple’s U.S. Education Store, Samsung Education Offers and Microsoft education offers may be relevant outside of back-to-school season. Eligibility and available prices vary. Separate ongoing education pricing from limited-time gifts, which may already have ended.
Travel deals: check the fine print
When a travel offer is advertised, verify its booking and stay dates separately. Confirm minimum nights, prepayment, eligible properties, cancellation penalties, taxes, availability and loyalty account requirements. A ‘20% off’ badge does not automatically mean the same saving compared with the cheapest available refundable rate.
Government rebates are different from coupons
A rebate or government benefit is not a general retail promo code. Availability may depend on state, income, property, timing and the administering program. For official benefit resources, begin at USAGov Benefit Finder and the U.S. Department of Energy. We never guarantee an applicant qualifies.
Offer status glossary
- Confirmed: official provider terms and dates were checked.
- Upcoming: a provider has publicly announced a future date, but enrollment or purchasing may not be open yet.
- Seasonal expectation: based on recurring patterns; the provider has not confirmed this year’s offer.
- Expired: the official end date passed or a provider ended the program.
- Unverified: do not rely on this offer until primary-source evidence is available.

Employee perks: ask HR before shopping
Employee shopping, entertainment and travel perks may be offered throughout the year, but participation depends on your employer. There is no universal company discount date or guaranteed bonus. Our TicketsatWork vs Perks at Work guide explains how to verify access and calculate actual value.
Year-round benefits: check your public library
Library perks are not a single annual shopping promotion. Some libraries provide digital books, films, learning tools and limited museum passes throughout the year. Eligibility depends on your local library. Read our free library card benefits guide before joining another subscription service.
